Itinerary:

An 11 day loop tour starting and ending in Sidney BC.

Route highlights include the

    • San Juan Islands (4 days),
    • Skagit Valley tulip fields during the annual tulip festival (2 days)
    • Olympic Peninsula, Galloping Goose and Lochside trail systems, Victoria (5 days)
  • 8 -10 ferry connections
  • Baggage shuttle
  • Double occupancy hotels (with single option)
To accommodate the sometimes hilly geography and many view points, side attractions (art galleries, cafe's, beaches, etc.) and early season fitness levels, the suggested daily itineraries involve moderate distances of 40-70 km/day.

  • passport
  • out of country travel insurance
  • well maintained bike (geared for hilly terrain)

Notes:

The registration fee is for a room shared with one other participant. If you would prefer your own room for an additional fee, a payment link for this option will be sent via email once you register.  

Have your bike transported back and forth from Calgary to Sidney if you are flying.  Bike shuttle available for up to 10 registrants (additional fee for this service).  A payment link for this option will be sent via email once you register.

All participants must have their own out of country medical insurance and, of course, a valid passport as most of this tour takes place in the U.S..

Payment is via credit card (Visa or MC) using the club's online payment system.

A pre-trip meeting/pot-luck social will be held on Saturday Mar 25.

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the EVCC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where EVCC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refunds of money if you or your guest(s) cancel.

Cancellation Policy

Once your deposit/payment has been received, a cancellation fee of $25 will be deducted from your refund, regardless of when you cancel up to 45 days from the tour departure.

Up to 45 days prior to tour departure: Full refund minus the $25 cancellation fee. 44 - 30 days prior to tour departure: 50% refund.

Less than 30 days, no refund.

Note: If a paying replacement is found to take your place, then you will receive a full refund minus the $25 automatic cancellation fee. In the unlikely event that the tour is entirely cancelled, your payment will be fully refunded.

Costs such as air-line tickets, costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations or illness and related costs incurred by a member but not included in the EVCC trip fee are not refundable by the EVCC. Members are advised to purchase their own travel cancellation insurance.
