Elbow Valley Cycle Club - Difficulty Ratings


D Rating

Road Rides
2 Easy: usually maximum of 35 km per day, depending on hills
3 Intermediate: usually maximum of 75 km per day, depending on hills
4 Advanced: usually greater than 75 km per day and/or very hilly
5 Advanced + : more than 120km and Century over rolling terrain
  Mountain Bike Rides
2 Easy: usually maximum of 10-15 km per day
3 Moderate: usually maximum of 15-20 km per day
4 Intermediate: usually maximum of 20-40 km per day
5 Advanced: usually greater than 40km per day
  Easy Riders
1 Leisure: usually maximum of 25 km per day
3 Intermediate: usually greater than 25 km per day, and/or somewhat hilly
4 Advanced: longer rides up to 100km; contact coordinator for difficulty level
