Notice is hereby given for the Annual Meeting of the Elbow Valley Cycle Club to be held at the Parkdale Nifty Fifties Club, 3512, 5th Avenue, NorthWest at 7:00 p.m. on March 2, 2017

Included in the Agenda will be the following:

  1. Minutes of the AGM 2016
  2. Financial Report for 2016
  3. Presidentís Report
  4. Reports from Directors
    1. Program
    2. Advocacy
    3. Social
    4. Golden Triangle
    5. Membership
    6. Communication
    7. Treasurer
  5. Elections for the Board of Directors 2017 (note:† Members are elected to the Board at the AGM and then at the first Board meeting following election, Board members are selected for the positions of Directors)
    1. Slate of Officers:† a slate of officers will be presented to the meeting followed by;
    2. Call for Nominations from the floor, followed by;
    3. Election of Officers
  6. Open discussion

Following the meeting, information about various Club Rides and Volunteer opportunities will be shared.

After the meeting, a variety of snacks and beverages will be offered.

Notes:
- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.
- Riders must be aware that cycling, while enjoyable and great exercise, carries some risks including injury and death. Riders must be alert for hazardous conditions/situations throughout the course of a ride. If at any time a rider thinks a ride is unsafe, or feels unsafe, the rider should quit the ride.
