New (for Me) ride to Water Valley Store for lunch break, back past Bottrel (over newly paved road connector) to starting point at Madden. I drove this route recently , and all road surfaces seem fine.

Possible beers at the golf course after ride is over.

Several kilometers are on Hwy 22 ( with narrow(-ish) shoulders) , an active road, so you must be comfortable with this condition ,and also be very safety conscious !

All riders must be self sufficient with a well maintained road bike. There is no sweep but there will be regrouping at various intersections .
