|Join me for a 45 km ride with a couple good climbs. Symons Valley Roadhouse and Farmers Market may be gone, but its still a good place to ride.
Start in the parking lot on the NW corner of 144 Ave and Symons Valley Road. We'll go north on Symons Valley Road to 261A, west up a long, gradual climb up 261 & 262 towards Bears Paw. We'll follow 262 a few more km to Glendale Road where we turn north. Glendale's new pavement twists through some scenic farms to Lockend Road. Turn south on Lockend, up another long, gradual climb back to 262, turn east for a fast run back down the first climb to return to our starting point.
Optional post-ride beverage at Scotsman Pub, in creekside, about 1 km south.
