Loop over, and around the south and east perimeter of, Nose Hill, beginning at the Berkley Gate Parking Lot. Enter the Park at the intersection of 14 Street and Berkley Gate NW. This route makes a nice quick prep ride we can fit into an evening get/keep fit ride, for the GT maybe.

Here's the bike route, keeping to the paved paths all the way:

- Head west up Porcupine Valley to the top of the hill. This 2 km hill is mostly easy but makes a nice training hill repeat.

- Follow the path west towards Shaganappi Trail, then turn south and east towards John Laurie Blvd.

- Descend the Doris-Sandra hill into Many Owls Valley. It's above and to the east of the Many Owls Parking Lot. This 0.5 km hill is a short but challenging climb and makes another nice training hill repeat.

- Repeat the Doris-Sandra hill climb M times.

- Exit the Park via the pedestrian bridge over John Laurie Blvd.

- Head east on the bike path paralleling John Laurie to 14 Street.

- At the complex intersection of 14 Street and John Laurie, head north on the bike path paralleling 14 Street to a tunnel under 14 Street. The tunnel leads to the foot of Porcupine Valley and the Berkley Gate parking lot. (There is a fenced Atco utility lot about 75 m south of the tunnel on the bike path, and a branch of the path leading down to the entrance to the tunnel.)

- Repeat the Porcupine Valley hill climb N times.
