This is a point-to-point ride with return by LRT. The Tuscany and the Anderson stations are on the LRT Red Line. The idea is we take our bikes to the start with our vehicles, or by using the LRT; after the ride we return to Tuscany or other point by LRT in small groups. The ride is being staged on a Saturday, a day when no time restriction applies for the transport of bicycles on the LRT.

Route. From Tuscay LRT station, we ride the Rocky Ridge and Royal Oak pathways, gaining 65m elevation. Afterwards the route is downhill, with a 220m decline in elevation. We ride east on the Rotary Matamy Greenway, on the north side of Stoney Trail, travelling through Royal Vista, Sherwood, Simons Valley, and Kincora. Next come the Evanston ponds and the Hidden Valley and Beddington pathways. We ride south on the Nose Creek pathway, stopping at the 35 km. mark for lunch at the Spark Science Center. You can buy lunch there or bring your own. We continue on pathways next to the Bow River and on both sides of the Irrigation Canal to Glenmore. We veer west on the Riverbend pathways, Southland pathway, and Willow Park Drive bikeway, finishing at the Anderson LRT station, where we can have coffee at Starbucks before boarding the train.

On the way we will visit briefly the new David Richardson Memorial Disc Golf facility.

The ride will have regrouping at intervals, corner guiding if necessary, and a sweep.
