We will ride to the Highway 40 summit, have a bite to eat, rest for a while and then journey back to the parking lot.

Road bike in good condition, tools, spare tubes/patches, helmet, hydration, snacks/lunch. Clothing as appropriate for the weather.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Drive west on highway 1, turn south on Hwy 40 into Kananaskis Country. Meet at Wedge Pond Parking Lot. Wedge Pond is approximately 6.8 Km past the Ribbon Creek/ Kananaskis Village/Nakiska turn off, and is just past the Mt. Kidd RV Park. Look to your left for Wedge Pond Parking lot entrance. Should take approximately 1hr from Calgary city limit.

- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.
- Riders must be aware that cycling, while enjoyable and great exercise, carries some risks including injury and death. Riders must be alert for hazardous conditions/situations throughout the course of a ride. If at any time a rider thinks a ride is unsafe, or feels unsafe, the rider should quit the ride.
