Itinerary:
Cycle 38 km one way from the south winter gate to Highwood Pass. The keeners can descend to the north gate and then return back up to the pass and the start point. There is a net/gross ascent of 670m/830m. You can turn around at any point to shorten the ride.



Allow extra time for traveling/driving to the start point!

Recovery options on return either in Longview or Black Diamond - TBD.

Event Directions:From Longview, drive west 43 km to winter gate.

Notes:
This will be a ride at you own pace event. There is no formal sweep.
- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.
- Riders must be aware that cycling, while enjoyable and great exercise, carries some risks including injury and death. Riders must be alert for hazardous conditions/situations throughout the course of a ride. If at any time a rider thinks a ride is unsafe, or feels unsafe, the rider should quit the ride.
