Itinerary:
Come experience some great gravel road riding as we explore some of Elbow Valley's favorite riding areas in a new way. We will ride 60k and climb 500m along the way. The route goes north from the YMCA at rocky ridge for a couple of k until we hit gravel. From there, we will ride mostly on Range and Township Roads for a loop. There is 8k of pavement along Big Hill Springs Road in the middle of the ride. Please check out the route in Ride With GPS for more information. The navigation is a bit intricate so we will regroup at major intersections, or do a rolling regroup. While there will be no sweep, we will be neighbourly, and make sure that no one is left behind. If you have questions please call me at 403- 669- 6554 or email gemtab@gmail.com. Please note I am out of cell range from June 10-13 so I will answer questions when I return. Please arrive in time for a 1:00 pm sharp departure

Required Items to Bring:
Cyclocross, hybrid, mountain, fat, gravel/all road... whatever bike you want to experience 60k of adventure riding on... just not your skinny tire road bike... unless you're brave. A sense of fun and adventure.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Tubes (maybe one extra :) ) tools, pump, enough water. A fender if it's wet.
