|Grand tour of the lakes, canals and new
neighbourhoods of Airdrie using the city’s
extensive pathway system.|
Route. From Genesis Place, around East Lake,
head south, Meadowbrook, Ravenswood and King’s
Heights. Ride west, then north on the Nose
Creek pathway, passing through Nose Creek Park,
Ridgegate and Sunridge. Travel west and then
south through Reunion, Sagewood, Canals and
Bayside. Explore the south of Airdrie: Prairie
Springs, Hillcrest and Coopers Crossing. Return
north through Luxstone, then east through
Edgewater back to Genesis.
The ride will have regrouping at intervals,
corner guiding if necessary, and a sweep.
Bring lunch. Finish with coffee at Genesis
(This ride makes up for the Best of Airdrie
ride of May 31 cancelled because of rain.)

|How to Get There:|
|Event Directions:||800 East Lake Blvd. NE, Airdrie. Take 2nd
Airdrie exit on QE Highway heading north (East
Lake Exit). Turn immediately right a short
distance. Go past traffic lights into the
Genesis North Entrance parking lot.|
- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.|
- Riders must be aware that cycling, while enjoyable and great exercise, carries some risks including injury and death. Riders must be alert for hazardous conditions/situations throughout the course of a ride. If at any time a rider thinks a ride is unsafe, or feels unsafe, the rider should quit the ride.
