The forecast is 28C so I thought it would be fun to combine a ride with a dip in Lake Midnapore. I'll do my best to go at a leisurely pace and to avoid as many hills as possible. We'll meet in the main Lake Midnapore parking lot on Midlake Blvd., head south around Chapparal Valley, then along the Bow to Carburn Park with the option of going to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, depending on the heat. After a bathroom break and snack, we'll turn around and head back south avoiding all possible hills, finishing back at the Lake where all are welcome to come in for a cooling dip or to sit in the shade and enjoy an afternoon at the beach. Tennis, disc golf and chess are all options if you're feeling like you still have more energy to burn! Guests are welcome to join us at the end of the ride for the beach lounging stage. You're welcome to stay until sunset!
