We'll start at Banta Park in
**Please park along Chisolm Avenue south of the tennis courts - leave the parking lot for the seniors and young families using the
We'll ride east and then north on quiet paved roads. Plan for a later lunch in Carstairs at the 50k mark in the ride. We'll stop at the Koffee Kabin on Osler Street. They have espresso, smoothies, sandwiches etc. There are also shaded park benches across the street if you bring your own lunch. There's a Subway across the street too.
We'll head south to return to Crossfield on quiet backroads, with the final few KM on HWY 2a, which has decent shoulders. Drive straight to the Crossfield Shell to grab a treat to enjoy as you load up your bike.
We'll ride at a moderate effort level and enjoy
the scenery, regrouping at important intersections.

|How to Get There:|
|Event Directions:||Banta Park is to the west of the Crossfield Shell gas station. There is a porta-john next to the spray park. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ride by 10 am.|
- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.|
- Riders must be aware that cycling, while enjoyable and great exercise, carries some risks including injury and death. Riders must be alert for hazardous conditions/situations throughout the course of a ride. If at any time a rider thinks a ride is unsafe, or feels unsafe, the rider should quit the ride.
