If you wish to carpool email Bill at . The meeting location will be the service road on the Northwest corner of Highway's 1 and 22 adjacent to the PetroCanada service station. We will ride the legacy trail, cross to Lake Minnewanka. After circumnavigating the lake we will come into the town site and out to climb the Mount Norquay ski hill access road. We return and ride along the Bow River to the park where we will stop for lunch / snack. We start our return by going under Banff Ave. and ride the Tunnel Mountain Drive around to catch onto the Legacy Trail and pedal back to the start.

Bike with recently checked brakes so we can descend safely from Mt. Norquay

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Travel west on highway 1 and take exit 91 to access the 1A highway and the Canmore Information Centre. These are point by point directions as if you are leaving from Canada Olympic Park. ( WinSport ) Travel west on HWY-1 W / 16 Ave W / Trans Canada Hwy Pass PETRO-CANADA on the right in 11.6 mi 54.4 mi At exit 91, take ramp right for HWY-1A toward Canmore 0.4 mi Turn right onto HWY-1A / Bow Valley Trail 1.0 mi At roundabout, take 2nd exit onto HWY-1A / Bow Valley Trail 0.3 mi Turn left onto Railway Ave A&W on the corner 0.3 mi Bear left onto 8 St / Main St 0.3 mi Turn right onto 7 Ave 138 ft Arrive at Canmore, AB The last intersection is 8 St / Main St If you reach 9 St, you've gone too far B Travel Alberta Canmore Visitor Information

- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.
