Itinerary:
This is a relaxed pace ride; please only join if you are prepared to stay with the group.

From the Canmore Info Centre, we will shuttle up to the Goat Creek parking lot and ride the ~19 kms Goat Creek-Spray Trail to Banff, mostly downhill on rock or dirt double track. We will have a lunch/coffee stop in Banff and then return east on the Legacy Trail.


Required Items to Bring:
Recent MTB - in great working condition, tools, tube, pump, helmet, water, lunch, snacks.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:We will meet @ the Canmore Visitor Centre @ 10:00 AM. Exit off Highway 1 West, follow signs to location. Rider count will determine the number of vehicles needed to shuttle the group up the road to Goat Creek trailhead. A vehicle will be needed to shuttle drivers up to vehicles after the ride.

Notes:
- Most club rides include city streets, secondary roads and or major highways. The club encourages members to follow the rules of the road at all times while participating in EVCC events.
- Riders must be aware that cycling, while enjoyable and great exercise, carries some risks including injury and death. Riders must be alert for hazardous conditions/situations throughout the course of a ride. If at any time a rider thinks a ride is unsafe, or feels unsafe, the rider should quit the ride.
