Four of us met at Springbank All Seasons Park and after a short discussion including weather and options, we decided to go toJumpingpound as planned.  Going out was quite pleasant; a moderate head wind and sun.  As we approached our destination, we could see a large dark, fierce cloud to the east  In fact, it started to hail as we reached the plant; so instead of lunch, we retraced our route.  The hail pounded us with small painful pellets and the temperature dropped.  We struggled to the top of the large hill and decided to cycle along hwy 22 rather than take the gravel road.  The sun came out and warmed us up and we finished the ride along the Springbank Airport Road.  Thanks to the three intrepid cyclists who accompanied me.
