GT Training Horse Creek Road DMcC

Thanks to Wendy and Hilary for taking on this weeks ride.  This out and back is the classic Horse Creek Ride.  We have listed this as a four hour ride so turn around is at two hours.  Many riders will reach the end of the ride before two hours but on this long of a ride we all need to take a break for a snack and bum-rest.  It is a very popular route and you'll meet other cyclists too.

We start the ride at the Plaza at the corner of Horse Creek Road which is about 2km west of Cochrane on Highway 2A.  Please park on the road or if in the Plaza parking lot, away from any occupied storefronts.  

Head north 20 km on Horse Crk Rd to stop sign. Turn left onto Twp road 280 and proceed approx. 2 km to Grand Valley Rd. Turn right and follow until the pavement ends.  Return on same route.
