Panorama Hills and Evanston 40

This is a new ride. In the form of a figure eight, it has a variety of lakes and ravines.

After its start at West Nose Creek Park, the route visits three of the four “Hill” communities in the north: Harvest Hills, Coventry Hills, and Panorama Hills, and arrives at Evanston by means of a connecting pathway. We stop for lunch at picnic tables with washrooms close by. In the afternoon, the ride goes through Evanston and Carrington; then cuts south back into Panorama Hills, following a different route than the one in the morning. The route follows the Country Hills escarpment with great views overlooking the city before returning to the starting point.

Expect some short stiff hill climbs. We will stop for rest and catch-up at intervals but not after every hill. We will have corner guiding as necessary, and a sweep. Bring your route tracking device for your enjoyment, and the possibility of leading this ride or a good variant next year. 

Location: West Nose Creek Park. Directions: On Beddington Blvd. NE, just north of its intersection with Beddington Trail. Please arrive 15 minutes before start.
