This ride in South Calgary travels on City of Calgary bikeways and along quiet streets in upscale neighborhoods.

Starting from the Big H at Heritage Park, the route travels north, wandering around Eagle Ridge, Kelvin Grove, Mayfair, and Bel-Aire. The route turns south through Kingsland, Haysboro, and Southwood, before crossing two bridges near South Centre Mall. Next, the route circles around Bonavista Lake, arriving at Pies Plus Café for lunch. In the afternoon, the ride goes through Canyon Meadows, including the attractive Babbling Brook Park, Braeside, and Woodlands. The route borders a cliff overlooking Fish Creek Park, before turning north through Woodbine, Cedarbrae, Oakridge, and Bayview. We can finish with a coffee at Glenmore Landing.

The ride will have regrouping at intervals, corner guiding if necessary, and a sweep. Bring lunch to eat outside if you prefer. Bring your route tracking device for more enjoyment, and the possibility of leading this ride or a good variant next year.
