Northwest Golf Courses and City Parks

Starting from the eastern side of Confederation Park, we use city pathways and quiet streets, riding through parts of Northwest Calgary to end up in Bowness Park for a picnic lunch (riders should bring a pre made lunch). After lunch we head east and use the Bow River pathways, tour through SAIT, Crescent Heights and then use the Nose Creek trail that parallels Deerfoot to return to our start point.

This ride is about 55 km in length with a significant number of hills to climb so we consider the ride to be intermediate-advanced. We will use sweeps and the corner guiding technique.

Location: At the eastern side of Confederation Park (30^th Ave NW and 7^th Street NW).
