Highwood Pass from the North

Last weekend without motorised vehicles on the road (opens June 15).

From Wedge Pond (Hwy 40, 30km south of Hwy 1, on the left), we ride to the top of Highwood Pass for a scenic lunch at the parking area. 

It can be cold at the summit, bring appropriate clothing. Also bring water, snacks, appropriate  tools, and inner tubes,etc  for bike repair. This is a long climb, so bring your climbing legs and lots of gears.
