We will regroup at intersections.  No one will be left behind.

PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO START TIME TO GET YOU AND YOUR BIKE READY
We start at the intersection of Hwy 1A and Hwy 40, 13km west of Cochrane.  Park on the shoulder of Hwy 40.  No washrooms or drinking water.  Please use facilities in Cochrane if necessary.

We go 27km on Hwy 40 into the Waiparous to where the paved road turns to gravel at a Texas Gate. Don't cross the gate. We head back for 3km and turn right onto Richards Road for 1.5km for a snack/lunch at the Ghost River bridge. Steep downhill to the bridge.

We continue to the end of Richards Road and head back the way we came to Hwy 40 and back to the cars.  Steep downhill and loose gravel on a sharp left-hand turn when returning to the bridge.

For those who want to do an extra 22km after we return to the cars, we can go out and back on the Beaupre Creek Road (Township Road 264, Range Road 54).
