Saddletowne LRT to Anderson LRT 37

SADDLETOWNE LRT TO ANDERSON LRT

Rating: 37 km. Easy. No hills.

This new ride travels on the Rotary Matamy Greenway in northeast Calgary including a recently constructed and opened section through green space and next to water south of Elliston Park. The ride gets onto the Greenway in the north through Taradale, along the 68 Street greenway, and on the 64 Avenue pathway. It turns off the 52 Street section of the RM Greenway in the south at the Glenmore pathway, and continues through South Foothills, Riverbend, and Willow Park to the finish.

You can travel to the start via the LRT and/or return home or your car via the LRT, with your bike on board. We will have a picnic lunch on the way near some ponds. Bring and use your route tracking device for your enjoyment, and the possibility you might lead this ride or a variant next time.

Location: Saddletowne LRT. Directions: Meet in the station parking lot on the west side of the station. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start.
