Horse Creek to Water Valley 80 Km

Distance: 80 kms

Rating: Intermediate to Advanced - 702m elevation gain. One Tough climb on way back .

Route - meet  at Mountain Ridge Plaza in Cochrane . Intersection of Hwy 1a and Horse Creek Road . 

Wheels hit the road at 10:00 am so be there 15 minutes early (9:45 am)  to prepare for departure

Must have a road bike in good working order . Must be able to at least fix a flat tire.

The store at Water Valley is open for some limited selection of refreshments. This is where we will take our lunch break, I suggest you bring some snacks or food for our rest stop. There are sometimes LONG waits at the sales counter.
