Banff to Lake Louise Return - 114km

Road Ride:  Intermediate to Advanced

Distance:  114km but options to turn at 20/40/70km.

Elevation: +930m

Pace:  20-25 km/hr

Meet at the Fenlands recreation centre in Banff at 9:30-9:45am. Wheels on the ground at 10:00am.  We will not be waiting for late arrivals due to the length of this ride. If you register for this ride but don't start from this location you will not be considered as being part of this ride.

The ride is appropriate for advanced riders.  Riders will regroup at Castle Mountain and at Lake Louise. However, there will be no sweep. Bring money or lunch for stop in Lake Louise. We will meet on the bank of the creek behind Laggan's Bakery which is situated in the corner of the shopping centre.

Bring repair kit etc. and weather appropriate gear. Two water bottles are recommended or a camelback works well too.   

There are 4 port-a-potties located at the east side of the parking lot and 4 outhouse style toilets along the section from Banff to Castle and 2 more from Castle to Lake Louise.
