ROAD RIDE - ADVANCED DISTANCE, ELEVATION AND PACE

Pace: 25-28 kph

Elevation Gain: 1,100 m

Parking and meeting spot: Priddis community arena parking lot between 9 and 9:15 a.m. 

Ride start time: Wheels rolling at 9:30 a.m.  Out of respect for those who arrive on time, we won't wait for latecomers.

Details:

• Enjoy the legendary Road to Nepal with a side trip to Okotoks
• Suitable for advanced riders who like hills and maintain a faster pace
• No sweep, limited stops -- while we prefer to ride together, be prepared to navigate and be self-sufficient if the group separates/spreads out.
• Review the route map ahead of time and download it to your phone, have tools, spare tubes, etc.
• Meet/regroup for a break and refreshment at the Old Towne Square in Okotoks (~50km, see map). Grassy area with benches and tables, cafes nearby
• Tailgate social at appropriate social gathering distance in the parking lot following our ride
