Time:

• Arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m.
• Pre-ride huddle and safety moment at 8:45
• Wheels rolling at 9:00 a.m.  
• Out of respect for those who arrive on time, we won't wait for latecomers.
• Expect to be finished riding between 1 and 1:30 p.m.

Route description:

• Suitable for advanced roadies who like to maintain a faster pace
• A classic Sunday morning ride out to Bragg Creek through Springbank, with moderate amount of elevation gain.
  
• From Bragg Creek town, take a spin through Wintergreen before heading West to the end of the line at West Bragg Creek provincial rec area in K-Country. 
• The route home includes some scenic side roads along Highway 8. 
• For more route info, please review the map ahead of time; download it to your phone or bike computer if possible.  

Ride format -- No sweep, limited stops:

• We will naturally separate into smaller groups based on speed, regrouping only at 1-2 key spots along the route
• Be prepared to navigate and be self-sufficient if groups separate/spread out

Safety:

• Ensure your contact info is up to date in the system before the ride -- including your cell phone number and emergency contact
• Bring your own tools, spare tubes, etc. (and know how to use them!)

Social elements:

• Longer snack stop at West Bragg Creek rec area (we aren't stopping in Bragg Creek town)
• Tailgate social at appropriate social gathering distance in the parking lot following our ride. BYO LC&R (lawn chairs and refreshments)
