It's Getting Warmer - Skate ski at Nordic Centre

For those who are trying skate skiing for the very first time or who want to improve their skate skiing technique. Do not miss this opportunity in a free lesson from an experienced skier,- Tom.

We will meet at the east side of the stadium at Nordic Centre, Canmore at 10am (ready to ski). Tom will give us an introduction to skate skiing and explain the technique through some practice drills (about a 30-minute lesson). ​Intermediate skiers are welcome but should think of this time as an opportunity to practice the basics from step one.

Afterwards,​there are lots of trail options to practice your technique or you can switch the classic skis. You are welcome to continue for as long as you want.

Nordic Center requires a day pass that covers maintenance of the trails and grooming. It costs $15 for adults (18+) and $11.25 for seniors (55+) and can be purchased at the Day Lodge.
