Sheep River Falls from Turner Valley- 71 - 77 km Andrea Walter - note start time change to 12:OO

ROAD RIDE - Intermediate

Distance:  71.1 to 77 km 

Pace:  pedal at your own speed - out and back

Elevation Gain:  900 meters - LOTS of climbing with grades over 11%

Meeting time: 11:45 start at 12:00

Meeting place: The library/community centre in Turner Valley. 

WASHROOMS:  only at the nearby Esso. Library is closed. No outhouse.

Ride at your own speed from the parking lot west along hwy 546 for about 35 Km to Sheep River Falls where we can stop for lunch or a snack. ( those with extra energy may choose to follow the road a few kms more  to a cul de sac for a total of 77 km - I always have extra energy so I will be doing this)

As this is an out-and-back ride with an obvious route, there will be no sweep.  Be prepared to be self-sufficient, with enough food and water, and equipped and able to change your own flat tire if needed. 

If you want to socialize afterward bring a chair and your own snack and be ready to at least leave 2 M between  socialites.  Masks are also recommended when not eating or drinking.

Note-  for those who have rode with me this season, I will be riding my new road bike (Enzo) not my mountain bike.
