Are you looking for a ride with great views of the foothills and mountains? Did you want to do Bill Stilwell’s “Klimb a Kilo” ride for the scenery but weren’t ready for an April excursion on both of the Roads to Nepal that had over 1200 metres of climbing? Would you like the opportunity to visit these roads WITH ONLY HALF THE CLIMBING? Sorry, if you want the views you still have to get to the top but we will only do it once!

Join me for a trip along the old Road to Nepal and the Road to Nepal, in one direction only. We will start in Silverado, cycle on paved roads and do the Old Road to Nepal first. We can stop at the open area at the top for a snack break and enjoy the views of the foothills and the mountains in the distance before we descend down, turning south at 192 St. We then turn onto and follow highway 549 to 112 St (better known to cyclists as the “new” Road to Nepal) and take that road as we head for home.

We can have a tailgate party at the end or visit the pub, depending on the group’s preference.
