An opportunity to learn a bit more about an important and useful Elbow Valleys resource,  Ride With GPS (RWGPS) App. 

The goal will be to increase your knowledge and comfort using this app and to answer specific questions you may have. Hopefully we will be able to resolve any planning issues you have come up against, and inspire you to be more creative in using the tools offered by RWGPS.

This evening will focus on the planning aspect of RWGPS and this is done most easily with a laptop or desk top computer.

Some mobile issues with tablets may be touched upon, but no mobile telephone issues will be addressed.

Registrants must:

• Be a Ride Coordinator to participate.
• Have a personal RWGPS Account
• Should be familiar with the RWGPS App and have used it to plan at least one route and be familiar with how to navigate within RWGPS.  This could be on their personal account or the club account.

A separate training session will take place for those who are interested in RWGPS but have no experience using it.

To ensure that relevant issues are addressed each registrant is asked to submit 2 or more questions about RWGPS they would like to have answered. If necessary the Event Coordinator may contact registrants to clarify questions prior to the actual event.

If desired, registrants can build a short route on the Elbow Valley CC RWGPS site that illustrates the problems encountered. It will be easy enough to view them during our session.
