Elevation: 450m

Pace:  25-28/kmh (not a hammer-fest)

Who want to see how the 1% lives?  

Wheels roll from the west end of Bowness Park at 5:30 sharp. We climb the 12 Mile Coulee bike path through Tuscany where we embark on various loops around Bearspaw - Bearspaw golf course, Church Ranches, Rolling Acrees, Grey Way, Woodlands, maybe even the Bearspaw criterium, before decenting back to Bowness. Mostly bike paths and side streets, but there are some short sections on some busier streets. 

This is not a hammer fest. Goal is to ride at a steady pace. Lots of hills, both up and down, to challenge yourself. 

• Point out and call out road obstacles
• Signal, call out "stopping" and pull OFF the road if and when you stop, for any reason (don't have to pull off road at red lights)
• Ride single file, except when passing
• Call out when you pass, only on the left and at not within an arms length
• NO crossing wheels
• If you take the lead, hold the pace, don't increase it or decrease it
• If you are leading and your pace drops or you get tired, wave the group by on you left and take a break at back
• If you can't hold a steady line, don't pace line
• And smile, this is supposed to be FUN!
