ROAD RIDE - LEVEL  - advanced

Distance:  66.4 km

Pace: your own

Elevation Gain:  1139 meters

In the past this ride of almost continuous hills was used as a primer for the Golden Triangle. This year it can be an opportunity to get some hill training closer to home for future rides in the mountains or just to get a good challenging  ride accomplished while rolling through picturesque countryside.

Note:

The intersection of the two arms one south and one west has now been changed to a curve instead of a T intersection. It would be better  to continue onto the west arm first and then the south arm to SR #549. By doing this, it prevents you having to perform the dangerous LTAT. ( Left Turn Across Traffic ).

2. While many of us will be able to safely descend the section traveling east from height of land on the west arm, the road surface has continued to deteriorate and now has a few sections that could cause rider falls if taken at full speed and or on a wrong track through the rough, loose and missing pavement.
