MTB Multi Day: All Levels
Coordinator: Mike Sekella
Distance: As little or as much as you want in a day.
Pace: Any
Elevation Gain: +/- 300m to the top of the Plateau. Repeat as desired.
Hopefully by the date of the event we can allow more people to join. For now we are still limited to 10 people.
As registration is limited, please be planning on mountain biking with us if you sign up -
This posting is mainly for information only - You are responsible for your own camp site / accommodations, food, etc. There is a small store there with basic supplies. (yes, and ice)
Come for any or all the days, or whatever. I generally go a couple times a year to ride the trails in the Cypress Hills. (At Elkwater - Alberta Side)
There are lots of campgrounds there. I believe there is only one hotel, though there are some B&B's also. Lots of other activities to do before or after mountain biking too. If it is hot, a swim in the lake is great. If you have a boat, you can do that too. There are activities put on through the Visitor Center also. Hiking is an option too, though it is on all the same trails you can ride your mtb on.
There are lots of trails there and often, for the last few years, there has been some new trail building going on. Last I saw, at least most of the trails are on Trailforks.

Some people have inquired about campgrounds - I am in Firerock. (but not the farthest loops - C, D, and E)
Those loops are up a pretty good sized hill. As well, the Ferguson Hill and Lodgepole campgrounds are halfway up to the top of the Plateau. Means you have to ride up to your site after as most rides end up at the bottom.
If you are camping, you can check your campground here:
