Banff Baker Creek 92 Road Maria

Pace:  20-25 kph    

Elevation Gain:  778 m

Cycle most of this scenic route with no cars, on smooth pavement.  There is an option to turn around at Castle Junction and go a total of 62 km instead.  Since this is an out and back, there is no opportunity to get lost, although riders should not ride alone.  Any riders who get back to the start ahead and leave before the coordinator has returned, please leave a text at 403 660-6719.  

Lunch stop at Baker Creek (or Castle Junction if you turn around there)

Some outhouses along route are open, some closed.  Porta potty's are at the start.

Bring Bear Spray since bears are often sighted in this area.  Also bring enough water and fuel for a summer ride with hills.
