ROAD RIDE - LEVEL : Advanced (distance) / Intermediate (pace)

Pace:  18-20 kmph

Elevation Gain:  950 m

We'll ride through the Church Ranches subdivision to Bearspaw Rd, north to Township Road 262, west to and through Cochrane to Grand Valley Road, north on GVR to TR 272, east on 272 to Horse Creek Road, south on HCR to the 1A and then east back to Cochrane.  We'll have a quick refuel stop at Coffee Traders and then climb the "big hill" (with an option to go through the Glen Eagles subdivision) before retracing our route back to the start.  

We'll stop to regroup frequently so that no one is left behind.  Although the distance is "advanced", don't expect to set any land-speed records.  Please arrive at the start in time for a 9am departure.  In the event of inclement weather or a forecast of inclement weather I may cancel the ride. 

Please have a road bike in good working order, tools and equipment for flats, appropriate clothing, food and water.  I only plan to stop in Cochrane on the return ride, with a few quick snack stops along the way.
