ROAD RIDE - LEVEL : Intermediate

'Round here we call 'em  coulees - but country superstar Randy Travis calls 'em  hollers:   Deeper Than the Holler

Come check out the hollers - and even a couple of hoodoos on this ride from Crossfield.  We'll head east to Secondary HWY 791, turning north and then west to Carstairs, where we can mosey down main street - maybe grab an ice cream, enjoy our bag lunch at the Carstairs Gazebo, then hightail it back to Crossfield.    These are mostly quiet roads - we'll cross HWY 2 twice on overpasses. 

Distance: 68K 

Pace:  18-20kpm - relaxed touring pace with a few stiffer climb's out of the hollers.  

Meet at Banta Park in Crossfield at 9:45 a.m. - wheels rolling at 10 a.m.  

Please park on Chisholm Avenue beside the tennis courts - leave the parking lot to the seniors and young families who will be using the spray park later that day.  There is a porta-john at the spray park.
