Symmons Valley towards Cochrane

Road Ride (intermediate) 

Join us for a lovely evening ride on quiet country roads. Meet at Symmons Valley roadhouse (Beer Hall). We ride north on Symmons Valley road (slightly busy) just long enough to reach township road 261/262 (very little traffic). Ride due west to the end of 262, south towards top of Cochrane Hill, then west to lookout. Regoup at 262 and Lockend Road, and turnaround point. Anyone who wants to ride The Hill is welcome to do so. After taking in the view, we return the way we came. Route is 51.6km and 474m without The Hill. It is an out and back, mostly uphill on the way out (mostly downhill on the way back!). No sweep.

• Drafting only permitted if the person you are following is OK with it. NO CROSSING WHEELS!
