This week's theme is "Biking in the Rain". I've planned this ride so it doesn't rain but the forecast at one time suggested rain or showers all week. Wednesday should be the driest day of the week. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Really this is a sneak peek of what's coming with the "In Case You Missed It" theme the next two weeks, where we ride some of our favourites from the past summer. And this ride is definitely worth it for the scenery. Grand Valley was given its name for a reason!

So, let's enjoy a shorter ride and enjoy the vistas of Grand Valley and the return to Cochrane on Horse Creek Road.

Those wishing an even shorter ride can skip the last 4 km on Grand Valley Road and turn straight onto Township Rd 280, making a 52 km ride. The rest of us will cycle to the end of the road before turning around and heading back to Township Rd 280 for a 60 km ride.
