Water Valley 60 or 100 km Gaylene, Intermediate/Advanced

Pace: 25 to 28 km/h fast paced and hilly, intermediate to advanced road ride.

Wheels rolling at 10 am, Water Valley.

This is a 61 km loop through Bergen to enjoy the new pavement with the option to add up to another 40 km on an out and back to the decommissioned Burnt Timber Gas Plant.  The out and back section to the Gas Plant makes it easy to turn around at anytime.

There will be limited stops for regrouping. No sweep. Limited mobile phone service. Being self sufficient is very important!

Please park on the south side of Water Valley by the ball diamonds or community hall. Outhouses available. Water Valley and maybe the park at Bergen are the only locations for water, so bring your food and water.

Water Valley Saloon is open for eats after the ride.  Tail gate planned.

Be prepared for variable weather. Bring road bike in good condition, helmet, sufficient water and food.
