This is part of our week-long “Up the Elbow” extravaganza event!

This is a classic hilly ride up the Elbow River on Highway 66 to Forget Me Not Pond, before the Elbow Falls gate opens (winter road closure ends on May 15.)

Starting at Bragg Creek Provincial Park, head up Route 66 to Forget-me-not Pond. Be prepared - this route has an intense amount of climbing!

Format: Limited stops, no sweep - we will regroup at key milestones, and will stop at Elbow Falls to enjoy the view before the final ascent of the pass. We will also stop at Forget-me-Not Pond to soak in the scenery.

Start/Finish: This route starts at Bragg Creek Provincial Park as shown on the map (NOT at the community centre in town). There are parking spots, washrooms, grass and picnic tables here for our enjoyment and relaxation after the ride.
