This ride will go on one of lour days depending on the weather forecast;  June 9, June10, June 13 or June 14. (Mid week days.) Registrants will be notified of the chosen day nearer the time. All registrants will automatically be included in the rescheduled day. If you can't make it please cancel.

Description: Ascend the highest paved road in Canada while the winter gate is still closed -- enjoy the scenery with no cars on the road. This is a challenging route with lots of climbing. You may go at your own pace. It is an out and back, impossible to get lost. I will wait at the top, in the parking lot with the toilets, for everyone to show up. Don't set off back down without checking in with me. Take your summit photos after checking in. I will also wait at Poccaterra for everyone to return.

Please come prepared with clothing for changeable mountain weather conditions. We will be gaining significant elevation -- even on a nice day, it will be colder higher up and the long descent back can be very chilly. As the entire route is closed to cars, make sure you are self-sufficient with all the food, water, and emergency supplies required.

At the end of the ride we will enjoy a tail gate party, bring a chair if you want to join us.
