Silverado to Okotoks Loop Jeff Harris 53Km Intermediate

Park just East of Shoppers Drug Mart in the Silverado Shopping centre corner of Sheriff King St SE and 194 Ave SE.

An somewhat easier ride to Okotoks from Silverado on streets, pathways, rural roads and highways.  
Travelling SE of Silverado though Belmont streets and pathways to Highway 2A for a short stretch and then onto rural roads and Sec. Hwy 552 to Okotoks, using paths and main streets in Okotoks, we will stop at the Library for washrooms and at Old Town Park for a coffee or lunch.  Returning via Crystal Ridge Dr. and 32nd St., Hwy 2A then through De Winton, Hwy 2A and Belmont again.  Some short 5% inclines to get out of the Sheep River Valley on the return home.  

We will stay as a group in urban areas so no one will get lost.  Regrouping at major corners and Hwy X-ings in the countryside.  Riders can ride at their own speed on the longer rural road sections.  Thanks Gary Denman for showing me this route.
