This is a credit card tour to Pentiction for five days of cycling in the warm Okanagan. This trip is similar to the one called in June but the tour of the Kettle Valley is optional. Riders will be responsible for arranging their own transportation and accommodation.
All the routes are on RWGPS. We will have the option to explore the area. More details will be available referring to meeting times and places. I will be in contact with participants.
Sept 20 Drive to Pentiction
Day 1. Cycle from Pentiction to Naramata to first tunnel on hardpacked gravel. 30 km.
Day 2. Oliver Vineyard Tour including Black Sage Road. This trip starts in Oliver-park at Sakeboard Park. This trip can be lengthened by continuing into Osoyos. 42 km 271 metres
Day 3. Tour around Skaha Lake and Okanagan Falls.
Day 4. Green Mountain Ride 72 km.
Day 5- Exploratory trip.
Sept 26 Return to Calgary.
This is a flexible itinerary. There will be frequent regroupings to wait for the coordinator.
