Lake Louise Moraine Lake Kicking Horse pass 49.3 Intermediate* Bill

Type of Ride:  Road Intermediate* - Anticipated Pace 18-20 kph with wide variations on steeper portions.

* is added to indicate there is some serious climbing on our way  to Moraine Lake. Some portions are 6-8% grades peaking at 10.8% for a short portion.  Distance: 49.3  km.

Elevation gain:  661 metres

Another opportunity to enjoy the extended summer in the Rockies.  

We will leave the parking lot at 11:00 a.m. Arrive early so we are ready to go please. 

Coordinator will stop at all major intersections to make sure no one is left behind.   

Bring water, a snack, a helmet ,a spare tube and small toolkit.   

e-bikes are allowed with the assumption the rider wishes to stay with the group.

Bring a folding chair  for a tailgate social after the ride .
