Turn R at RR31 off Highway 8. Before Glencoe Golf and Country Club gates turn right on Elbow River Drive and drive to the end of it . Park in the large turnaround.

Pace: Overall average speed minimum 26 km/hr. Advanced to advanced plus

We'll start at a cul de sac just East of the Glencoe Golf and Country Club entrance on Highway 8. We'll ride out highway 8 and 22 to Bragg Creek, then on to Highway 66. We'll ride to the closure gate just past Elbow Falls. We'll stop for snackage and return the same way. Can stop at the Cinnamon Spoon in Bragg Creek. We'll avoid the traffic circle one or both ways by taking a long-cut to the SE. Total will be about 94km, can be expanded by a short diversion down Highway 762 off 66. 460 m climbing and almost all on the way out.

Stops at intersections to regroup.

Bring a fast and well-maintained bike, foodstuffs and a sense of humour. The only services are at Bragg Creek. Event will be cancelled if weather is poor.
