Celebrate the highlight of the 2023 cycling season, with our 2nd Canola Fields Fondo event, offering rides of various paces and distances along the beautiful canola farmlands of rural Alberta.

Meeting place/parking:  All road rides start/finish at Madden Community Centre

Route (thanks to Heather O for the route design): 

Embark on a 100-mile century ride starting at Madden, North of Calgary. Pedal towards Carstairs, to Bergen and Sundre, with the return via Water Valley, surrounded by picturesque farmlands. We tackle this route in late July when the canola fields are in full bloom, painting the landscape in vibrant shades of yellow.

Apres-ride social: Join us after the ride for social at the Madden Golf Club patio, which is reserved from 2pm till 5pm. Bring your own or purchase refreshments and snacks at the Club House.
