Description:

Riding into a large mountain range is a wonderful experience. Let's enter the Rockies and go to Lake Louise! The only hitch is no restaurant at Bow Valley Park. So, start at Canmore Info Center, ride east to Bow Valley on the 1a to Seebee. That's the warm-up. Then west to Lake Louise on 1a/Legacy trail. Part of 1a closed to cars in September.

Two quick food stops on the way and a break at Lake Louise Ski Hill. Return to Canmore same way with stops and then EAT, maybe Patrinos. John will likely ride the route prior to the event and work out any details.

Suggested for strong, high mileage riders who have done a few Centuries or longer this season. This ride is not suitable for anyone trying to ride at the limit of their ability. It will be a be a great challenge and historic for EVCC!

Bring tried and tested gear. Replace worn tires, cables or brake pads. 2 bottles and stuff to change 2 flats.
