Banff Minnewanka Golf Course Sundance Canyon

As you drive west look for the turn off to Lake Minnewanka. Take that and then take the first turn off to Cascade ponds. Take that road a short distance and take another right so you are getting closer to the TransCanada highway. Go past the newish toilets and park.

Arrive in the parking lot before 10:30 wheels roll shortly thereafter. Bring water and tools as usual. It will be warm.

We start with the loop up to Lake Minnewanka and stop back at the vehicles for toilet break and additional supplies as necessary.

We then cross over the highway and through town to ride the golf course loop. 

Next will be a lunch stop in the park followed by a roll out past the cave and basin where we lock our bikes and hike up Sundance Canyon to the water falls.

Return to vehicles passing along the west edge of town along the Bow.

We will keep in touch with all riders throughout the ride, but downloading the map or at least studying where we will be going will allow for more relaxed ride.

The coordinator doesn't mind others leading as long as they are certain they are following the route. Haha.

We plan to have a tailgate gathering. So a lawn chair and chilled libations would be great additions to bring along.
