High River Longview Loop, 78 km, Intermediate, Celia N. POSTPONED

Meeting place: George Lane Park, High River. Parking near the entrance on the right hand side. Rest rooms nearby.

The last time I posted this ride was for mid-week, so this time it is on the weekend to accommodate those that have to work mid-week. I have also sent a text message to Zephyrus asking for no wind that day, or to send E wind in the morning and W wind in the afternoon. He hasn't replied yet.

This is a scenic loop through ranching country. We will head South and West from High river, enjoying views of the mountains as we go, arriving in Longview for lunch in Centennial Park. Then return to High River on the famous "Coal Trail". The views of the mountains are behind us but there is usually a tail wind on this section and it is slightly downhill most of the way.

There will be a social after the ride, tailgate-style. Please bring lawn chairs, non-ancoholic drinks, and snacks.
